Adriatic Jewelry

Looking for something special and one-of-a-kind? Adriatic Jewelry, owned by designer/jeweler Rebecca Fragola, recently opened a showroom in Astoria located at 28-53 46th Street (by appointment only). Custom jewelry, engagement rings, wedding bands and reworks updating customers’ unworn/old jewels. Find your dream piece here, whether it’s gold, silver or something custom all made by hand in Astoria

After working several industry jobs from intern, to jeweler, to designer, Rebecca decided to launch her own collection. This allows her not only creative freedom, but also the ability to make work in a way that is ethical and sustainable. She has her BFA in metalsmithing and went on to continue her jewelry education at FIT and GIA (Gemological Institute of America).

Rebecca decided to open her showroom in Astoria because she was meeting with a lot of her private clients in restaurants and cafes and thought it would be nice to have a more private location for one on ones. It also opened up the possibility of tattooing, piercing parties and other events.

When asked what her favorite piece of jewelry she has ever designed is, Rebecca said it was her trenta ring which has three white sapphires in a triangular-shaped band. Its a great statement ring and also works as a wedding or anniversary band. She offers it in customizable metal, gemstone or diamond options.

Adriatic Jewelry also holds parties where you can play with some jewelry and check out some gemstones. Their next event will be held on Sunday, September
