The series will be coming back on October 21 and will include spoken word, sculpture, performances, music, dance and art exhibits that are meant to provoke and respond to social and cultural issues through many forms of art.

The series will include local and international artists such as Klein, NIC Kay, Jeremy Toussaint- Baptiste, Jonathan González, Doreen Garner, and Sarah Kinlaw.

The current schedule of the VW Series is from 2018 through 2019, and programs will be added to the series after April 2019, so the fun will not be over any time soon.

The first Sunday event of October 21 will be free, as a part of MoMa PS1’s Fall Open House, and will feature a performance by Toussaint Baptiste in which he reinterprets Steve Reich’s sculptural performance composition of Pendulum Music.

For other MoMA PS1 VW events, member tickets are $13 per entry each and for general admission tickets range from $15-$20.

The MoMA PS1 VW series was founded in 1976 in partnership with Volkswagen of America who have sponsored the series since its founding.
