Greek Star Yannis Kotsiras Returns To New York

Leading Greek star Yannis Kotsiras, who captivated the audience in his debut performance in the US, during AKTINA’s April 2015 Greek Music Journey sold-out concert, is returning to New York by popular demand for yet another memorable performance presented by AKTINA Productions, Inc., and produced by Elena Maroulleti.


Director David McElfresh, 36, is an Astoria resident and A Long Time for Lovers is his second feature. “The eight years I’ve lived in New York City, it’s all been in Queens. I love Queens. All but two scenes were shot in Queens, which makes us thrilled to be showing the film at Queens World Film Festival (QWFF),” said McElfresh. 

Bardo Takes Film Festival Awards

The film Bardo, which stars twice BAFTA-nominated actress Lelia Goldoni and Johnny Solo, has had massive success since its release this past summer. Partners Dennis Latos and Scott Aharoni were not expecting such a massive explosion for their first film. They not only directed Bardo, but edited and executive produced it as well, while Petros Georgiadis wrote the screenplay for the film.
