   The staff of Advanced Radiological Imaging welcomed the arrival of their new General Electric MRI machine.


After over a year of waiting, Brousko has finally opened on the site of the former Punta Dura on 34th Avenue in Astoria, where many episodes of The Sopranos were filmed at their favorite fictitious restaurant called “Vesuvio”.

Frank Englezos is a native Astorian. Englezos said, “I was born at the Boulevard Hospital on 46th Street and 31st Avenue, that’s how Astoria I am. His father, George, started selling hot dogs on Steinway and 31st Avenue in 1970. In the ‘80s he introduced souvlaki to the neighborhood. Since then the Englezos family has participated in the business.
